Dear Parent / Guardian
Post-16 Taster Sessions
As we prepare our Yr11 for their GCSEs and beyond, we will be holding taster sessions to show students what they can expect once they have their results and start their new courses in September. A large number of Year 11 students and parents have asked for subject taster sessions. These sessions will take place during the afternoon of Thursday 29th March.
There will be a number of sessions for students to select, based on their plans for next year. Each session will last 25 minutes and they will be offered for a wide range of Level 2 & Level 3 courses. This will be an excellent opportunity for students to find out more about the subjects on offer and ask questions to help them make better informed decisions.
There will also be a number of support sessions available to help students prepare for their GCSEs and make longer term plans. These include:
It is really important that we provide as much information as possible to our students so that they are clear about the important choices they are about to make. I hope that these sessions will answer many of the questions they may have and help them plan for their future success.
